In collaboration with Spect’Art Rimouski, the Association des Amis et Anciens du Conservatoire de musique de Rimouski will present the teachers’ annual concert on March 31 at the Desjardins-TELUS hall. The show will start at 7 p.m.
Thirteen musicians have prepared a program featuring Couperin’s finest works in Piazzolla. “This year, the teachers’ annual concert is all the more important because for many of us it represents our return to the stage in front of an audience. It will be a special moment for anyone who will be there, ”says the director of the Conservatoire de musique de Rimouski, Annie Vanasse.
During the concert, the violist Line Giasson, the clarinetist Ludovik Lesage-Hinse, the harpsichordist Josée April, the double bassist Annie Vanasse, the flautist Anne Thivierge, the oboist Normand Forget, the pianists Maurice Laforest and Jérémie Pelletier, the saxophonist Louis-Philippe Bonin, soprano Éthel Guéret, vibraphonist Gabriel Dionne, violinist Élise Lavoie and cellist James Darling will play works by Corea, Wanamaker, Schubert, Couperin, Mozart, Glazounov, Piazolla and many others.
