BariSuite is a suite of five etudes for baritone saxophone. Although each etude is in contrast with the others, the work is cyclic as thematic ideas return throughout the work. Each movement makes use of the sizable range of the baritone saxophone.

The five movements are as follows:

1. 1. To begin with… is a study in alternating contrasting textural and dynamic phrases that gradually increase in duration.
   2. Recitative focuses on slow legato phrasing and registral shifts.
   3. BlueBari is modeled after a twisted blues form with alternating metric changes.
   4. Arietta alternates melody and bass similar to passages found in a Bach Cello Suite.
   5. Full Circle (…repeat and fade) is a study in endurance through a minimalistic techno-style groove that winds through a circle of fifths progression.
