I had the wonderful privilege to be interviewed by Christina Ensign for TheSaxophonist.org Magazine as part of their Meet The Composer series for their September/October 2019 issue.
I should make it clear that I am not a saxophonist. You can actually tell by looking at the image above, which is a document of the only time I ever touched a saxophone. But… I have had the privilege (and the joy) to compose several works for and with the saxophone over the past – well – many years, and have made several saxophonist friends from around the world with whom I continue to collaborate.
TheSaxophonist.org Magazine is a wonderful publication not just for saxophonists, but all musicians who are interested in reading about other wonderful musicians. I am so very grateful to Paul Haar, editor of this magazine, for the opportunity to speak to Christina for this featured interview.
Paul and Christina have graciously given me permission to share my interview with you through my website. If you are interested in all things musical and saxophonic, please subscribe to TheSaxophonist.org Magazine.
