Stella Nuova

Stella Nuova is based on a 14th – 15th Century Italian lauda with additional words by my frequent partner in crime, Garth Bardsley. This is brand new music for the holidays and is the first of what will eventually be a set of three unabashedly tonal and loud laude.

This recording is from the World Premiere performance by The Crane Chorus and Orchestra conducted by Jeffrey Francom on December 7, 2014.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and anything and everything else you may celebrate!
